All the News that's fit to print! Is It True??? It's true. There're many outrageous claims about the new frontier being a place where you can pick up gold nuggets off the ground. I'm talking about the claims of most marketing sites.
In fact, when I visited the Gold Country of California--my home state--recently, I realized that the same claims were made back then. You should have heard the hype! You'd have thought that all you had to do was take a pick and shovel and you'd be rich in a matter of days if not hours. I'm sure the same things were said when they discovered oil in Pennsylvania and Texas. Just poke a hole in the ground and watch the black gold geyser out! The more things change, the more thay stay the same, don't they?
I've been working the Web hard for a year. Have I been successful? Some. Am I wildly rich and living on the French Riviera? NOT! But I love what I do. I love the early morning hours with my cat Precious beside me 'helping' me blast my message to the world.
It's fun. I've made contact with people literally all over the world. One of my partners is a New Zealand Maori woman living in Bejing! Go figure! What really counts is the people I've met through the Internet. Most are honest. But there're enough of the others to make you wonder if you chose the right profession. Maybe you feel that way sometimes.
